Tartalom

The study examines the Hungarian translations of a medieval Easter office hymn, Ad coenam Agni providi, and, after uncovering the layers of meaning of the original hymn, analyzes how and why the textually faithful translations in medieval codices differ from those in early Protestant hymnals, and why these can be considered more as paraphrases.
